Broadway Breakdown is for every level of theatre fan: lovers of the Golden Age, Tony Awards aficionados, obsessors of Broadway divas…even those who are new to the scene and are looking for some help learning about this weird world we call “Show.”
How did we get here?
Broadway Breakdown began as a podcast that specialized in historical deep dives of past Broadway shows, reviews of current Broadway shows, and in-depth analysis of each year’s Tony Awards. And now we’ve expanded it to this Substack before you! You’ll still be able to enjoy new episodes of the podcast, but now you’ll also be able to read articles on Broadway news, the latest reviews, fun historical anecdotes, as well as converse with other theatre lovers. We’ve also got a special treat or two in development that will be available exclusively here…
